Exif Data Information?

Hello,
Why when i download a image from etsy or any other site, I dont view the metadata info??

I download some images from etsy and ebay and don't view metadata info.
Please let me know if im wrong.

Just want to understand how this works, Once i take pictures i view the exif data, But once a image is up and then i download the image i can't find the exif data.

On Windows i just right click and go to details.

Download exif cleaner, its free and a good program that cleans all exif data from images.

You will see any exif data using this program if a picture has it and than you can clean them

years ago facebook got into huge trouble for leaving all exif data in photos. all social media websites freaked out and made sure exif data was always removed after being uploaded. perhaps et.sy followed the same path.

EXIF contains a ton of information about your camera, and potentially where the picture was taken (GPS coordinates). That means, if you’re sharing images, there’s a lot of details others can glean from them.
