Im a etsy seller.
And let me tell you, They check if your shop is open from the country you register.

Once i got one of my shops down they ask me to explain why im login from a different country.

Other problem is when you put where is the item shipping from.
You must be careful with this.

Example if you create a account based on Uk and you put that is shipping from US, they will hold your account and ask for your information.

You can do this.
Example: If you open a account on UK make sure you put that you are shipping from UK, If the item is going to be ship from US, Ad a note on the package telling the customer that you are on vacations and you did your best to bring some stock with you because your main goal is to satisfied them.

This is to avoid any problems or report.

You could use a dedicated VPN when registering.

So the IP address shows the UK if you ship from the UK.
