Paypal & Etsy Integration
 

Hi,
I received an email this evening from Paypal saying that

"We recently announced several security upgrades planned for this year, some of which may require you to make changes to your integration. You’re receiving this email because we’ve identified areas of your integration that may need to be upgraded.

What you’re about to read is very technical in nature – we understand that. Please contact the parties responsible for your PayPal integration, or your third party vendor (for example, shopping cart provider, and so on) to review this email. They’re best positioned to help you make the changes outlined in this email and in the 2016 Merchant Security Roadmap Microsite. "

My question is this one.

On paypal i have 7 emails for each Etsy shop.
With this get me linked???

If they integrate paypal with etsy
will they not linked my emails for each account once people pay?

only if they change to PPX.

PP standard is always fine. ive been getting these update emails for years with all of my marketplaces that use PP. we sellers have no control over how they integrate the PP checkout. these emails are more of a heads up for us. only the marketplace you sell on has control and these emails are moreso directed to them.

if you had your own website and integrated PP as the checkout system, then these emails would be a bit more important.
