Wifi Surveillance question.
 

Would a wifi camera work if I keep resetting my router for stealth eBay.

Just wondering really because if to install a camera on my driveway. It don't know if this will be functional with the wifi being reset approx 8-10 times every morning.

Will it work fine or not? I want to be able to see the video on my iphone6 at night.

Just so you are aware, Ebay or PayPal cannot see your Camera. If you connect your Camera to your Home Network....that's as far as it goes, it's like a Printer that is Wifi....it can't be seen by any website.

It may need to be reset along with your router but maybe it will auto connect.. you'll only know when you start messing with it. :)

When a router is shutting down it sends deauth packets which disconnect all devices but your camera's wifi is still on and scanning, after the reboot it will reconnect automatically( might take a few mins )

my wifi camera re-connects.....when I switch router off and on, It has malfunctioned a couple of times that I noticed, no idea why at those particular times, and would not detect network, until I rebooted it.....

btw, what are you filming, usually there is a security reason? I had teenagers from next door a couple of times, coming in to my garden and messing with my chickens and building a den....when they saw the camera, they never did it again, but they did pull down their trousers to the camera as a parting gift...

on a privacy level though, when you point them in to house rather than outdoors, eg. to watch your dog or home etc, the pics go to a cloud owned by the provider...

you need gates, or lock in to a garage......expensive cars and open drive = no no.
