Shipping to China
 

I have to return some items since they came defective. I was typing in the info on paypal to ship the item. The problem is that the damn china address is too long and will not fit in. I have to use paypal to ship the item since our local post office does not offer registered air mail.

Some of the chinese wholesalers have abbreivated addresses. Maybe send an email to ask & ask if they have return address shipping labels.

I don't think paypal allows you to put another return address label. Won't the people delivering the items have problems.

Does anyone know?I told them to pay my paypal account 1 penny.

You can print the label to what paypal will let you and then just hand write it next to the address the additional address that paypal won't let you. Basically whatever paypal won't let you print write it by hand.

I have done this several times and the packages arrived ok.

I just wanted to ask if I declare the item as $40 cad value will my Chinese supplier be charged customs. I have marked the items as returns but I just wanted to make sure.

If it is a "return" and you mark it on the package as a "return" then the Supplier will not be charged customs fees since the item originated from the supplier's country. To be on the safer side you can just mark the package with Low or Zero Value.
