| BlackLion | 12-18-2016 11:27 AM | Bitcoin investing Does anyone here invest in Bitcoin? If so do you foresee it reaching $1,000 in 2017? Until weeks ago, I figured you had to invest $700+ per share, until I realized you could add anything to it. I'm considering investing a "small amount". Do you think it's worth it? |
| easy.bake.oven | 12-18-2016 11:44 AM | Re: Bitcoin investing Hi.
I noticed since 1 and half moths ago, bitcoin went up about £100 (gbp) and it seems to keep going up.
I personally think it will hit £1000 but I am no knowledgeable person on this matter.
Its sort of gambling investing in shares and bitcoins etc. so I don't get involved. |
Re: Bitcoin investing I think crypto currency will definitely play a part in our monetary systems future - no doubt about it.
Question is, which crypto currencies will make it - I think bitcoin definitely has a good chance. |
| cool customer | 12-18-2016 12:38 PM | Re: Bitcoin investing Definitely worth a dabble.
I got started with it a couple of months ago when I started accepting it on one of my websites.
I've only accrued a couple of Bitcoin thus far but the price has gone up over £100 per bitcoin since I got my first 'Bit' so I'll be leaving it there until/when it starts to plummet.
I say if you have any spare cash, go for it. |

The chaps who had the luxury of skyrocket returns are those who invested very very very... early on. Man buys $27 of bitcoin, forgets about them, finds they're now worth $886k (article linked below). https://www.theguardian.com/technolo...rway-oslo-home |

| slokor | 12-18-2016 04:19 PM | Re: Bitcoin investing The highest it was I believe was around $1400 at one point and then it dropped like a rock.
Its a bit of a gamble the way I see it. but on an infinite timeline (and assuming this currency sticks around) its a gamble you will likely benefit from - as long as you know when to sell off. |

He was having a lot of trouble attempting to access everything. At the time, he posted he had US$10,000 in Bitcoin.
And no he had never paid much attention to doing back ups etc etc.

| aspkin | 12-18-2016 06:03 PM | Re: Bitcoin investing I don't think Bitcoin is going away anytime soon and with enough time sure, it will pass $1000 per 1 bitcoin.
It has been going up like a rocket lately. |
Re: Bitcoin investing 859 USD at this instant - wow |
| GreenBean | 12-22-2016 07:42 AM | Re: Bitcoin investing Going up all the time...
Was US$605 when I last checked.

| slokor | 12-24-2016 11:19 AM | Re: Bitcoin investing I got a bunch sitting around - waiting for me to get the PP > BTC Exchange going. It will be open to executives and select long time forum members only at first. |
| Palesantos | 12-25-2016 12:21 AM | Re: Bitcoin investing It will eventually go up as high as 1500 no matter how bad the drop becomes. It is investors, publicity and business implementations that allows prices to rise.
If everyone decides to invest and keep, there will be less bitcoins in circulation and prices will eventually, of course. Go up. |

Now the question is.. "do you foresee bitcoin reaching $1,000 in 2018", probably not.
I think 15k by end of the year.. but let's see |

Re: Bitcoin investing When the down ward trend ends and the bull run begins I think it could hit 15k within a matter of days... from everyone pulling out of alts to ride the cycle.
I cant say for years end... But I'm thinking 30-40k 12 months prior to the next halving which would put the date around April of 2019.
Any time BTC price gets down around the 6k range everyone should be blowing up the forum with posts screaming buy. Like they did when the price was around 17k back in Nov-Dec...
Anything in this price range is a amazing deal IMO.
The next halving will drop the block reward from 12.5 down to 6.25 BTC essentially taking half the newly created coins off the market... Miners arent holding the majority of those coins, they have to sell to pay for electric and new hardware... | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:45 AM. | |
