America really needs to put some money and effort toward helping the people with mental illness.

It's tough watching this kind of news. Could be any of us or the people we love. Me and my family are always passing through various airports across the country for layovers etc.

totally agree. reading this story, this guy, is just someone who was inadequate and took out rage on people.....the only slack I can cut him, is he was a soldier in iraq and might possibly have been traumatised......

mentally ill people harm themselves more often...not others

mad vs bad - most of these stories they are bad and deserve no sympathy, they have killed people.

and why was he carrying a gun on a flight - whats up with security....when they bloody take my water bottle from me when I fly and last time they tried to take my bloody minature perfume too, until I threw a fit and sprayed it at them and they let it go, as I was too much to deal with......

He checked the gun legally on the Flight, than picked up the luggage loaded the weapon in the bathroom

It's simple, The Media has made it so....so people just get use to it, sort of like when Trump said the following:

So you see.....if people get the message shoved in their faces enough....eventually it becomes true. Now, are ALL people coming to this Country bad? No.....but those who are seem to represent the rest of the people that are good.

I hate all that stuff.

Especially as it innocents that get done - not fair.
Those innocents aint got a clue and just plod on with life - leave them alone!!!
Take me instead, I am a rubbish person.

This rubbish stuff has been going on since I was born and I remember seeing this kind of stuff many many years ago on tv. I hated it then and I hate it now and still do not understand why. I cry every time this kind of stuff happens, so daily.

I HATE IT and there is no need for for any of this madness. What is going on? FFS :(
