$100 BP Gas Cards on eBay For $16.23
 

I always check to see what deals ebay has on gift cards. Its an easy way to make an extra $7-8 on money I cant pull into a BA.

Today a seller with multiple accounts has $100 gas cards for $16.23usd. It differently sounds too good to be true but anything is possible.

Is there any way to loose money on this? PayPal money is guaranteed for 180 days right? Ebay guarantee for 30?

I'll wouldn't think twice about gambling on 20$ if the money is guaranteed to come back to me at some point in the next 180 days.

feed back is little. between 2-44. 100% possitive. video games, shoes.... One account I'm looking at now is from 2010. Be one hell of a way to kill aged accounts fast.

My 2 cents

They are being shipped from Hong Kong(odd), thus he is quoting a very long delivery time. He sold 5 in last 24 hours, that's $110 dollars a day, and more than $3000 in 30 days time.

There are other people selling, all seem to be based in China, one seller has only got one feedback

Same thing I'm thinking. I'm sure all account are same person. Only thing that gives me the slightest bit of doubt is that it would be possible through hacking to pump out a bunch of cards but would probably get burnt before you could get them. But no matter what way you look at it those EB/PP accounts are toast.:croc:

the cards are most likely stolen and flagged in the BP system. Id stay well away from auctions like this. Its similar to the gift card scam. They wait for you to buy it but the funds and serial have been 'sold' to someone else.

Anytime you see giftcards selling for significantly less than their face value, the majority of the time they are acquired using stolen cards / stolen accounts / shady methods.

Not recommended unless you are accepting the risk and liability

Agreed, 99% of the time these are purchased with stolen credit cards.

I had a friend who would buy Starbucks gift cards like this, $50 cards for $10 or so and half the time he go to use the cards they were zero'd out and flagged as fraud.

It's too easy to defraud merchants with credit cards these days it's ridiculous. Credit cards are a dinosaur system that needs to have better safe guards for merchants.
