About the gmail address. That can be a warning sign, but in and of itself, not cause for alarm. One of my businesses uses gmail exclusively. We pay for those accounts, they aren't the free ones, but the addresses are all @gmail.com anyhow. Some businesses do that for mobility reasons and for archival purposes. Although most businesses do want a vanity domain on their gmail accounts.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have about 50 gmail accounts that don't say they are gmail... I forgot about those. Heh.

Well, in Switzerland there are 3 mains speaking regions: German, French and Italian, so that can be legit.

SCAM. Do a little google research and you will find it on a long list of money scams, kind of like the Nigerian Bank thing but to a smaller degree. Most likely the exchange rate of your funds you sent back would be worth ALOT more than what they originally sent in the first place.
If it sounds too good to be true, most of the time it is.

I did Google research on the company name but could not find any complaints on them. But yes, you are right Kuntrykok...the Nigerian kinda of scam what I suspected from the beginning. Thanks!

It is a SCAM, all right! I Googled "employment scams" and indeed, there is pages and pages on it explaining what scams are going on... I recommend for everyone with resume posted to read:
