Gmail Disabled Account
 

Have few cryptocurency wallets connected to my gmail email. To use them they always send confirmation emails. Now gmail decided to block my email. Now i can not access many websites where my email was add as they ask email confirmation. Tried several times to restore- no luck. Tried to open a new mail on same adress but get error that adress is still in use.

Is it possible to close down suspended gmail account somehow? ...and to open a new one on same adress?

Or any other ideas????

I don't know the answer to your question, however if you tell us why your gmail accounts were blocked, it could help other people to not do the same mistake. thanks, and good luck

For security reasons I guess same exact address, if blocked or deleted, cannot be reused for a loooong time.

Have you sent a message to Google support?

Maybe they felt you were using the account for illegal activity and shut it down? If you explain what you're doing and they manually review it they may unlock the email.

I wish i knew what is wrong but i dont. No idea what kind of policies was violated- after login it says that it was violated and there is a link to their ALL list of policies but nothing specific marked. Used this email just to receive confirmation emails from several web wallets- they send emails where is a link to click to confirm the transactions and thats all. Never been doing other activities. To me looks like just a random hit. There is option "try to restore". In it i can put in email which i still can acess, and field where i can give a reason why should they restore it. So i tried several times to explain that this is just a personal email and im not running any policy violating activities, but all i get is automated letter which always comes after 48 hours and says account can not be restored as it violated policies, but again- no info about specific violated policies are given..

Also later found out the same phone number was used on another very old email of mine. Logged in it, still works. Removed phone number and after that closed down the entire google account. Nothing changed.

Today tried to login to account using adsense login page- it allowed to login, asked to confirm phone number. Done that and after that again the same screen says account is dissabled. But only chage now it that from now every time i try to log in it ask to confirm phone number and after that the same account dissabled error..

SOLVED. ...if anybody interested..

The phone numbers by misstake was used on other gmail account too. Deleted number from the previous gmail account and closed down that old email at all. After that loged in to new account by google analytics login page. It asked to update phone number. If loging to gmail intercace than it simply says account is disabled and no options there. So after add new number when loged in to analytics, they also asked to change password. Then log in by gmail interface, they asked to confirm new number and after that got the same error that account dissabled. Then contacted them to reinstate new account again and they reinstated it.

Strange that it can not be fixed straight by gmail interface and you have to go arround to update data once blocked because you can not update anything if tryong to login directly to gmail. I had fixed 2 of my accounts this way. Works ok now and was able to take out my btc finally. BTC now is much more expensive than back then, so withdraw about twice larger amount than had before :) Happy ending.

Wow. took you two months to solve the issue but you did it. Congrats.

Sounds like the issue was related to the phone number used. Maybe Google flagged that number as high risk..

Yes, took some time but paid off because BTC price is going up and this couple of months forced stop made some extra cash in the end :clap:

It is not a phone number which is blacklisted or something. Also try to message google support as much as you want but that will not help as they are not explaining what is wrong, you need to figure out by yourself and after that just to send them message "i fixed it, could you restore access" and thats all. They are not comunicating or explaining anything.

The problem was- you can use same phone number to open several gmail accounts. However if one of the accounts ask for number confirmation on logging, you confirm it and the first account confirmed number will be ok, but the rest of accounts will be dissabled automatically. Looks it started to work like this..

So, lesson learned, happy it all ended well, and in conclusion- one phone number for one gmail account.

I too would recommend to call in at google call center :thumb:

Even if the issue is resolved, why not have a nice chat with a google representative and ask him about some of the not too touristy sights in India. Those guys are probably very knowledgeable. If you don't plan a trip to India tho, don't call.

Woah woah woah... I wouldn't put the idea to bed so quick. On the off chance you happen to get connected to someone in the Philippines, you can ask about tourist attraction sights there. ;)

You can have the account reset and reopened without the emails being deleted. You can also have the emails transferred to another email.

Good thing this was solved. Make sure to remember the alternate email address and phone number associated to your gmail account for verification.
