I dont see things getting better. We live in a digital age and there are plenty of nutjobs with guns out there seeking their 15 minutes of infamy. |

Dumb **** Trump would be setting Country Bans on every Country that has ever had a Muslim living in it! haha.....I know that sounds dumb but that's how stupid our President is.
What isn't funny is the amount of people being murdered in the US....BY other Americans! |
Re: Texas Church Tragedy These incidents are getting alarming in number - every 2nd week, a mass shooting in the US followed by somewhere in the world, a vehicle plowing down pedestrians the week after.
Sickening. |

People I know are taking these events on a case by case basis.
One thing, surrendering their firearms is not mentioned as an option.

=} | Give every nut the chance to buy a weapon, as easy as it would be for me to go to the grocery store, and this is the result of it.
Old West and gunslinger time is long gone. I would be scared to live in US... starting from its president. |

Humans hold a firearm to prove they are stronger.

| oompaloompa | 11-06-2017 06:42 AM | Re: Texas Church Tragedy It is also a morality and values issue regarding the perps, the parameters are skewed, that you can kill for kicks, a perceived slight/diss, to steal, a feud etc.
As for the self-defence people, well they are just scared and that is understandable in a way.... |

Now who would want that? |

| slapped | 11-06-2017 09:51 AM | Re: Texas Church Tragedy There are sadly some "Core Truths" to the gun control argument. One is that people kill people, guns are simply a tool, no different than a Knife or a screwdriver if a persons true intention is to do harm, then harm will be done, the only thing that changes is the tool that is used, from a gun it can become a truck, knife, or an ax.
The second truth is the National Rifle Association. The NRA is arguable the most powerful lobby in the U.S. pumping tens of millions of dollars in every election, Federal, State, and local. Democrats LOVE making the point that Republicans are protecting the NRA but the truth is that you would HARD pressed to find many Democrats that would actually VOTE for any gun control legislation DESPITE what they say. Politicians (Democrats AND Republicans) from big cities like New York, California, Illinois, ect, ect are really the only places where some real support
actually exists.
To give you some further insight here are some of the things that the NRA actually does: https://votesmart.org/interest-group...5#.WgBwJKOWx9A https://www.nrapvf.org/grades/ |

We start referring to them as "some asshole", and quit crediting them with the event, I bet a lot of this nonsense would stop! :spy: | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:18 AM. | |
