Verifying a business
I'm wanting to purchase a few items from this certain supplier. They've listed their Business Certificate on their site and it's definitely legit(I checked it). They have 2 800 numbers, 1 office and the other one is for Fax. I've searched on Google for their name and their Owner's name. 1 result was found that looked suspicious, they were on Rip-Off Report were some "customer" claimed to have received 100 ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Microsoft Professional 2003 discs. Although there was a response written from an employee that said it was an illegitimate claim, in his very well written response he explained that they sold the guy OEM discs and made it very clear that they were OEM but the purchaser claimed they were counterfeit because he didn't know what OEM was. Other than this, there is nothing about the company. They seem legit and from the many e-mails we've exchanged, she seems like an honest and very professional person. She's displayed no signs of being desperate(for me to purchase anything from her), obviously she was professional about her e-mails, no broken English, real business terms, etc. As of now, it seems good, prices are where they should be for this product, a bit low but nothing outrageous. She has also allowed an inspection of the items but a 10% deposit is required which is somewhat reasonable when you consider the high risk Businesses run with fly n buy deals. Should I go for it? Any advice? Also, when will ebayhatelove return? I miss her! I think well have noticed how the presence of an ebay veteran benefits us.
