TV Series Worth Watching??
 

If you were to choose only one TV series to watch right now.. what would that be?

I'm nearly done with "The Punisher" on Netflix with Jon Bernthal

It's so good! I already like Jon Bernthal from The Walking Dead so to see him in a similar roll (badass times 10!) is very entertaining.

I have only a few more episode to go for this season and so far it's amazing.

Honestly, i thought The Punisher was awesome. There is so many I could name that I think are worth a watch. Power is extremely good if you haven't already seen it, there is a show I watch called The Following, pretty sure its one you may not have seen. Give it a go!

Bosch on Amazon Prime Video. Season 4 is coming up in April, it’s one of those shows you can binge watch in a few days.

Stranger Things on Netflix, I can’t say enough good things about it. I love the science fiction elements and nostalgia of the 80s it has.

Startup on Crackle. It’s a very interesting crypto currency based show, lots of drama and murder surrounding the exchange program. Martin Freeman is in it.

If I had to pick just one, Stranger Things. I binge watched both seasons when they were released in 9 hours.

There’s one episode, I believe episode 7 (the lost sister) that is a stand alone episode that most skip over on rewatches. It’s not a bad episode to get a little more story about the other kids at the lab, but it really slows down the show so if you want to skip it you can. You don’t miss anything.

The last big fight was awesome wasn’t it? Compared to the other shows I’m glad it went there in terms of violence. When he drags (spoiler) face across the glass I was cheering on my couch.

The entire series I'm yelling at the screen with badass moments like this. I have a movie theater like sound setup at home so the base is rumbling with action scenes like this. It's so amazing. Seriously one of the best series I've seen in years. 10/10

Nice to know someone else gets ‘moved’ watching TV.

Watching the olympics has been very very vocal for me.

The dogs look at me as if I am nuts.

Moving on, that home theatre situation is cool. My chair is like an airline seat...

If you can afford it a proper home theater is amazing. I used to go to the movies nearly every weekend but since I got a proper home setup I only go to see “must see now” movies, typically big blockbusters like superhero films and Star Wars. Everything else looks and sounds just as good at home.

I recently watched all of Altered Carbon on Netflix since I’ve been sick for almost two weeks with the flu and it looks stunning for a home viewing. It’s very much a Blade Runner esque looking series, highly recommended.

I enjoyed 'Altered Carbon' as well. Raises some very interesting questions about immortality and the consequences of having certain people around forever (Trump as an immortal? shudder...)
I also enjoyed Star Trek Discovery - I thought the production value on that show was tremendous.
Looking forward to Jessica Jones season 2 - coming out in March 8th.

I saw Altered Carbon a couple weeks ago, it was great! Netflix is hitting it out of the park with some series.

I haven't seen Star Trek Discovery yet.. looks like I'll have to find that one.

I would look into Babylon 5. Its an oldie, went off the air in 1998, and some spin offs.

Or the remake of Battlestar galactica, with one of the most underated actors, Edward James Olmos.

I just started The Frankenstein Chronicles on Netflix. It’s a pretty good so far, similar feel to The Alienist on TNT.

The show creater J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI, wanted to do a movie in 2017 but I guess it never came to be. With sci-fi becoming more popular today I would think the show would be rebooted or something new made. I guess this is another dead show.

I just started watching The Punisher 3 days ago and wow, what a show. I am now on episode 11 and quickly coming up on the last episode, 13.

I'm excited for Jessica Jones Season 2 coming in a few days. I'm not a fan of any of the ABC Marvel shows, but Netflix's offerings have all been fine - even Iron Fist.

I'm a fan of the Netflix marvel shows as well but Iron Fist was painful to watch. Bad casting on that one...
I'm enjoying watching Sneaky Pete now. Just started season 2. Bryan Cranston is always good.

This is the best show I've ever seen IMO, the only series I binge watched like a madman. If you have not seen I recommend.
