would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

Would you ever buy f4ke stuff for yourself?

personally for me it all comes down to the value and quality you receive.......

I would never buy 20k rolex unless its impossible to replicate that model......like its design is so unique its impossible to be replicated.......

I would never buy a f4ke if it puts me at risk of danger, like lets say you buy crappy f4ke merchandise that might be a hazard to your health or safety......

now some people i know buy f4kes lets say burberry polo shirts.......stuff like that......with the design on the collar.....makes somewhat sense if their is nothing rather special about the polo shirt......

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

There are reps of certain watches that are repped 100%, and you need a highly educated specialist to tell if that is a rep. Chinese are able to do certain things pretty well. I personally have many foo foo branded T-shirts. They look amazing, and cost 10% of the gen. And I am not afraid to damage them. The main issue with foo foo is not that the thing is cheap itself, but how the ppl behave. For example, if you drive a 50k car and live in a nice flat / house, noone would ever have a doubt that a Rolex on your hand is real deal, while only you know it is a superclone worth 30 times less than a real deal. Same with shirts, would be weird to see a Burberry raincoat on a person going to McDonalds and riding a poor car or living in a bad neighborhood. So, when you have a certain lifestyle, using foo foo is absolutely okay for me. And of course, I am against foo foos that can be dangerous to my health, like medicines, personal hygiene goods, certain electronic devices...

I used primarily phake college text books when I was in school. Words are words regardless of where they're printed.

Also, agreed with yankee haha.

Makes it much more exhilarating when using them.

Used to, fa ke clothes, polo shirts for $15 instead of $80 that are exactly the same. Now I just buy unbranded ones for $5-10 though. Seems like the more money I make the less I spend.

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

THE ONLY THING REALER THAN REALITY ITSELF IS THE PERCEPTION OF REALITY... THIS IS FACT!!!

I only care about quality... I could give two f#ck5 who made it... If there was a 1:1... I talkin' no BS 1:1 top quality rep.... And the price is right.... I'll take the rep without even thinking about it...

I'm from South Florida... One of the materialism capitals of the world...

I've been robbed more times than anyone on this forum would probably believe... I'd never even think about spending 10k on a watch... Actually... With the connections I have now I wouldn't even think of spending 1k on a watch... Forget about getting robbed... Just for the fact that I could make more money with that money...

But I stay with a nice collection of $10k+ watches.

I've found the easiest way to make big money is to alter peoples perception of reality and make them feel envy. That's how you strategically find opportunity.

Out of greed people will gravitate towards you wanting to know how you do what you do...

Having luxury things makes you a target, not to mention are a waste of money.

I like plain clothing / items which provide utility/function and are cheap.

Yes I buy f4akes.

I have a rep AP diver watch (1:1 clone) spent about ~350-450 several years ago and it became my daily beater. I have been in AP stores and reps have held it without knowing any difference. With that being said it’s a quality watch. I wouldn’t get the $100 just for the look.

Quality matters, not the price.

I probably have that same Royal Oak Offshore Diver... If I remember right its a JF v6... I get compliments on that watch all the time.. I'm from South Florida and have gone into watch stores in Miami/Ft.Laud and the Bahamas with it on... When the sales reps see that thing they come running... "Would you like to see anything" Only problem is then they want to try and shoot me ridiculous prices.

My favorite watch I have is a Limited Edition PAM 00364... That thing's a beast.. The Rock's frequently wearing the mass produced version, the PAM 00305 in a lot of his movies.

i knew this one person in hawaii he owns 2 real rolexs, filed for bankruptcy about 3 times, lives in a disgusting small rented apartment, works a job in a college as a food service provider, immigrant can barely speak decent english,

he bought some old model bmw and decides to put water in the radiator instead of radiator fluid........regular water can corrode/rust the radiator and engine, point being is hes stupid with his money.....

bmw has windows that don't go down properly, doesnt even bother to fix it like a normal person....

I always knew him to buy expensive useless stuff like lacoste polo shirts, swiss branded backpacks, brand new latest phone models......and I look at his overdue electric bills.....and how they threaten to shut off electricity services.......

some of the people who have the REAL thing, but can have a crap job, live with parents in some nasty apartment.......etc....

not uncommon to see scenarios like this with asian families......

When I lived in Thailand for a month, there were ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff everywhere. It's all you could buy and it's what the locals bought. I bought some watches. While they look nice they can't keep time for anything. :)

I wouldn't mind buying ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items but not at real prices.

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

My friends kid buys those Chinese foo foo Nike Jordans. He started buying them when he was a freshman, by the next year he was selling 2-5 pairs a week at his school. By his senior year, he blew all of the money on a new Mustang car. Turned out to be a POS, rebuilt the engine at 55k miles.

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

Depends on what you buy. I bought a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ watch which died on me after a few months. So I went out and bought the same watch, but this time it was real. I kid you not, side by side, you couldn't tell the difference. Everything was made to near perfection. The quality, weight etc. was all on point. Just unfortunate the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one stopped working.

Thats the issue with ⊗⊗⊗⊗'s, the risk you take on reliability.

If you go on rep watch forums you can find the best factorys that make the watch you want... or just the best 1:1 watches in existence if you dont care too much about which watch your looking for...

usually factory's only focus on a few watches... They dont try to rep them all.

You can get them with real Swiss movements... or Seiko movements...

come bs on the server w/ me @play

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

I'd pick a generic over a real or phake, especially if the price is lower, provided the generic's quality is better than the phake/real stuff. But if a phake is cheaper than a generic however, then I'd have to ponder. Because at the end of the day, it's all about price for me.

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

It’s not Always easy to tell nowadays, the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ are getting so much better.

To be honest, I’ve got to the point where, who gives a flying **** if it’s made by Nike, or Adidas. Don’t care if an item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗, if it’s good quality then might as well have it.

Yeah. I went into an AP dealer I. The Bahamas and they praised my watch and were showing me a ton of new versions Since the gen version is over 15k. I was looking at some PAM reps myself. I am a bit crazy and go down rabbit holes all the time (eBay stealth being my latest). You may have just spun be back down the rep route now. Guess I need to spend my side eBay money somewhere.

Cheers

@MM78

Which PAM is that? the 00111? They say that the PAM 111 v4 noob pre V hands is the best 1:1 Marina they make... Don't know if its true or not tho... But I've wanted one with a black calf strap for a long time.. It will most likely be the next watch i get... I already have a PAM 00364 which is more sporty... the 111 is a nice dress watch.

Honestly your picture doesn't do it justice tho... I've seen a Marina in real life and when you get just the right angle of the side profile with the high bevel that sticks up above the outside of the crystal... That's the money shot... Had me sold the second i saw it... The one I saw was polished SS tho.

I love Panerai's... Their not exactly a house hold name... But known enough by the right people... If you know what I mean...

Re: would you ever buy f4ke stuff?

i got my watch, its quite interesting how my f4ke rolex watch cost me a mere 123 bucks.......

I can appreciate it because the details are quite spot on............and automatic self winding........you can only hear a very quiet ticking sound if you touch the watch with your ear......other than that you don't hear anything in a quiet room...supposedly it has a sapphire crystal....

this thing is better than those authentic watches that are quartz powered........ that go for $500-1000 bucks.....from companies like fossil, emporio armani, ferragamo........

I would take this f4ke rolex any day of the week.

the irony is i bought a emporio armani watch awhile back on amazon for 300 bucks......

and it was quartz and it made a loud ticking noise...........the watch looked plain and boring.......I don't think it was sapphire crystal face either......

Well...and that one time I got too greedy and also tried downloading a typing practice software that ended up being a virus that crashed my laptop ($300 repair job). It was still cheaper than the $1,200 in textbooks I was expected to buy.
