| JohnnyBoy | 07-09-2009 06:49 PM | Day 2 with no cigars, could use a lil motivation, surprised I could make it two days :amazed: |
| GreenBean | 07-09-2009 07:12 PM | http://www.smokefreesociety.org/cele...ges/yul-1z.JPG "Now that I'm gone, I tell you: Don't smoke, whatever you do, just don't smoke." -Twenty years ago, Yul Brynner, dying from lung cancer, made a television commercial that said, "Now that I'm gone, I tell you: Don't smoke, whatever you do, just don't smoke." Brynner was very much alive in January, 1985, when he made this statement on ABC's Good Morning America. But after he died in October of that year, he got his wish. The resulting public service announcement remains one of the most memorable antismoking statements ever made. |
| JohnnyBoy | 07-09-2009 09:03 PM | The don't smoke campaigns, hazards of smoking don't seem to work. I know them already and always have. I haven't felt this bad since I was 12 and was in juvenile count and thought I would never see my parents again. |

| JohnnyBoy | 07-11-2009 04:49 PM | Atleast the nicotine withdrawal has about gone away, day 4 and dont even think about smoking no more :juggle: |
| aspkin | 07-11-2009 05:52 PM | Well that's good.
Smoking is bad for you and cost a lot of money.
Go play some more COD4, that'll take your mind off of it.. well actually it would probably drive you to smoking more.
I don't know what it is about that game, I like to win, but my team almost always ruins it for me. You know how it is JohnnyBoy.. |
| GreenBean | 07-11-2009 06:48 PM | So wish you would stop talking about smoking.:pout: Still dream of the 4 packets a day I used to smoke. :faint: |
Me too, not quite 4 every day, but I did open third pack many times. Quit 4 years ago, than got real mad at something and started puffing again around this Christmas. How stupid of me!!!..Now, I am off 2 months again, but addicted to Nicorette Gum which also costs me a fortune...Well, at least I am smoke free.... |
....and , right now enjoying large Chocolate Frosty. (Aspkin's fault..LOL.):pop2: |
| GreenBean | 07-11-2009 07:40 PM | I overload on caffeine now. Drink at least..... that many cups a day ;) |
Me too... Make a gallon first thing in the morning and never even count how many cups I had..If my heart starts jumping like crazy late afteroons, I know I had too many that day.:ranger: |

Going to have to get off the gum soon or later, cant kick a habit by replacing it with a different form of the same habit. But im sure you already know that. So far, its day 9 and still no cigars. This is maybe my 5th time quiting. Quiting aint the problem, staying quit is. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:08 PM. | |
