no scam at all. U cannot just run with the cash because airbnb holds funds for quite a while after the stay. This is their way of waiting to see if chargebacks happen.

Im doing it because i got locked out of my airbnb account. So i wanted to create a new one under a different name. No dirty idea here..

Oh i see what youre saying about running away with money..

I mean technically, i guess yes, you can. But youll get away with it once, at most.. (not my intention)

the selfie is standard Airbnb verification procedure. Everyone has to go through it. Was just inquiring if there was a workaround because my account was blocked..but i guess there is not..

If AirBnB has blocked you I imagine there is a pretty good reason as to why....
