They've butchered some of the character arcs. It's been a very poor sesson. So much doesnt make any sense to me.
Arya abandoning her quest for revenge after a few lines from the hound (which has been her ONLY drive all her life) and Danaerys transformation has been very poorly done, I agree with you slokor. |
I know it was so poorly written and awful to watch........
Arya was wanting to kill the people she had caused her and her family to suffer and die she was around 20 feet away from Cersei and then decided then and there not to when she was wanting to kill Cersei almost at the start of the entire show.
Danaerys started out as the female Spartacus of the show but then decided to become a psychopathic killer without a conscious going against everything she became and stood for.
Tyrion decided to betray probably his best friend of the show leading to Vary's death when he saved him from getting execute in Kings Landing after his trail for being excused of murdering Joffery.
Danaerys decided to take on a fleet almost 10 times as large as the one that took down Rakul and each one of those ships and the Ballistics on the shore line were armed with the same Dragon piercing arrows but somehow almost 100 ships couldn't hit that 1 Dragon not even 1 time when the last episode just a few of them could with the first 3 shots that killed Rakul.
The Golden Company turned out to be the Worthless Company after being talked about and hyped up many times in the show.
Cersei was going to blow up Kings Landing if Stannis had sacked the city and blew up the Cept of Baelor to get rid of the light of the seven but wouldn't blow up the entire city once the Northerns, Dothraki, and Unsullied conquered Kings Landing and was killing people after they had surrendered. That sure makes a lot of sense ?
Gregor Clegane who swore to serve Qyburn for saving his life that looked like to be an absolute certain death from Oberyn Martell's poisonous blades decided to kill him in a blink of an eye when he served him and Cersei so loyalty from being resurrected after his last trail by combat.
Then Jamie manages to make his way to Cersei after he was mortally stabbed twice when they are together it was much different from Jamie drifting away from Cersei in the past 8 seasons and become a changed man yet in that moment when they were together Jamie trumps all the bad things Cersei did to him including almost killing him in Season 7 for going to join the North. 8 years of character change for Jamie meant absolutely nothing then 8 years after watching we watch bricks falling on him.

Just had to pipe in one more time about this...
Didn't Dani lock up her dragons for several months at one point for killing one single child?
Seems like quite a shift in her personality to go bat**** nuts like this. |
In the end Robert Baratheon was right.

Just had a thought about the finale.
Jon Snow or Dani on the iron throne sounds too obvious.
Maybe just maybe they'll do something unexpected and the winner of the show will be Arya.
Jon Snow will die with Dani in whatever interaction those two will have and Arya will assume the throne in the guise of Dani since she can pull that trick off - and theyre about the same size so itll work.
Just thinking itll be a nice surprise ending.
Thoughts anyone? |
Danaerys is so crazy in the head she will probably melt the Iron throne with her Dragon Drogon.
Danaerys will definitely die. I think Tyrion will likely die also from wanting to resign from being hand of the queen and also from freeing Jamie.
It will be a stark that rules Westeros and sits on the Throne if it's not melted down by Drogon.
I wish it could be Little Finger because he would see that country burn to be king of the ashes LoL but the writers are not that creative apparently.
