Find a new job outside of my online ventures, been working 5-12hr shifts in a row, off one day then 5 more. Absolutely no family time.

I make a decent amount being the area that i live in. Its one of those slim golden jobs in the area minus the work load and time that is required. Tired of working 4pm to 4am then some 6pm to 6am. I did put in for day shift, even if i got it, probably still feel the same way being i maxed out my learning potential in the department and its just getting old.

I have a friend that lives 15 hours away, Union job, pay would double, be home with family every day after 4pm. Great Benefits like my previous job, a job that i would love to do etc. I am qualified for the position, have the background, friend started out as a regular tech and after a year and a 1/4 he became manager making 95k.

I have a 10 year old, another on the way, every part of me wants to have more time with family and a decent income. She is excited. The expansion or hiring stage starts mid jan early feb.

I'd like to ensure I will never have to work for an employer ever again.

Just for little update, I've just achieved my first quarter of net profit so it looks like I won't need to go back to work.

That's a bit of a stretch, lol. You'll need to keep those profits rolling in to stay self employed.. unless you just profited $50mil in one quarter and now you're retiring.

countless possible reasons and things could come up but I hope you keep your momentum and 10 years from now be retired as a passive business owner :)
