an e bay seller mentioned to me that she gets her items through retail arbitrage. can someone explain what that is or means? thanks

It's those people you always see in the Walmart Clearance section with their phone/tablet out looking up retail product prices.

They buy things on sale and sell for retail. Seems like it would be really hard to scale up that kind of operation unless you have an army of people working for you.

Basically just finding items online at different retail websites, then selling them on for profit.
