the system failed theranos ex employees
 

I heard theranos ex employees cannot find a job. because of the fraud scandal all the employees are in a tough situation.

this is one of those situations I can appreciate in terms of being self-employed.

when you work for the system. the system can fail you and everything can fall apart.

when your self-employed like me........society economic conditions i am not dependent on it.

The system didn't fail them, but their work permits (college degrees) are no more attractive because of where they worked before.

I bet all the smart guys at Enron had a hard time finding work for a while after their scheme collapsed too, but they probably all found jobs eventually.

yeah......fast food or committed suicide.......

when someone puts so much trust in the system and it literally backs them in a corner.........people will kill themselves and their family. I have seen it happen to a lot of people.

they should use their skills to start their own business, surely they must have learned something from working at theranos.

the whistle blower has a hard time finding job/
Skilling is now self employed and trading from home,the last I heard.
Enron employees did not commit fraud.
It was tough at first,because other companies in the same city were also in trouble and laying off people,but then oil kept climbing,and this is boom and bust business.

It just dawn on me Jeff bozos and that Ebay guy are both entrepreneurs ,one start AMZN,the other started Ebay,Ebay was hot,better than AMZN when it was just a bookseller.
But look what happens now,founder retired and hired pros to run Ebay,Meg is a Harvard MBA used to run a division of a toy company,succeeded by a consultant
who is also Ivy league material,but look at Jeff and his AMZN,he never quit.
It could have been Ebay !
