What did everyone think of today's Lyft IPO
 

I didnt buy today's IPO for Lyft, I hate financials of the company. I am actually selling most of my index funds. There is tons of hot IPOs coming within the next few years and these large investment firms need to raise money to get into these hot IPOs, esp. the mega daddy Uber, Uber coming within a few months.
I think that will drive regular stocks down in price for the next few months or so. I'm going to wait until on the side lines for months until they get cheaper.

I only invest in sure things...............I have plenty of sure things elsewhere that would give me much stronger GUARANTEED gains..........its all about opportunity costs....

Uber are only selling about $10 billion in shares aren't they? Doubt that will make the stock market go down much when it's worth like $30 trillion.

Personally rather than invest in my own businesses then gambling on some big company.

How is it doing for you? You give selling information but do not really sell much yourself. Calling the kettle black dont ya think? :peace:

Stock market goes decently for me :) I'm picking up more on short-selling actually these days.

As for selling, which I do not sell a ton....I do still sell so that's pertinent :)

So no, the "calling the kettle black dont ya think" doesn't apply here :peace:

As for me it's better now slowly sell most of shares (yes including Amazon) and move to cash and/or gold. A great recession is coming...
