I found a coupon in the Sunday newspaper ,so I went and ordered on its site/
50% off plus shipping for first timer, food is pretty good, they own Franchessa pizza,Edward pie etc,so the quality is good.
I have frozen cod filiet, tialpia filet and 3 French baguettes all for $18.
They have their own truck and driver,it may take longer to deliver but all is good. https://www.schwans.com/?cid=2018_In...&RRID=70149140 |

That's expensive.
It's $4.45 an ounce for chicken breasts. At walmart chicken breasts are $1.99/lb.. so $.12 an ounce.

It's not even a special. Boneless chicken breasts are $1.99/lb at walmart every day, haha.
Edit - actually, just checked.. and $1.88/lb is the going rate.
"Quality" is a nonpoint to me because again, chicken is chicken. Doesn't matter to me if the chicken lived a nice peaceful life before I ate him when he was destined for the slaughterhouse regardless.

It does make a difference if the farmer uses hormone to make it grow faster, and antibiotics to fend off disease.
some like cage free chicken, not sure if this is better than a chick which is caged in.
But hormone and antibiotics we should all be concerned.

When I used to live in Cali, I would have Schwan's deliver from time to time, but damn, they are overpriced and very expensive. You can usually get the same things your local Trader Joe's, or even Whole Foods for half the price.
