Powerstrip shut off and Power on after 6 seconds?
 

Is there a device that can shut off and Power on a powerstrip after 6 seconds that can be executed from a computer?

i.e. send command from computer power strip turns electricity in "off" position 6 seconds pass turns electricity to "on" position?

Yes. They make relay-powered power strips. And programmable USB hubs. You'd need each one, at the least.

I'm sure there are even cheaper ways to do it. Especially if you could find a 1v relay, then use a signal generator set to 10 cycles per minute of square wave(DC power) and just use the Mic output of PC.

You could plug your power strip into one of those, then use its app to cycle power.

Or you could get a "sonoff" brand wifi switch and connect it to a relay going to the power strip.

Those are my two suggestions, haha. I don't think you'll find any way to send on/off commands over 3 prong power cords.. but maybe I'm wrong. :noidea:
