Nevada.

It's one of the most libertarian states without a lot of taxes, regulations, and B.S. laws. It's also very business friendly.

So far im thinking Nevada, New Hampshire or Flordia. New Hampshire is #2 on a sites list for the most free state in the union. Pro gun rights, no crime, no income / sales tax, wilderness, homogeneous population, next to Canada (Ehhhh ohhhh!). Cold though.

Nevada is already becoming like California, look at las vegas, I got the phuck out of there years ago. The last time I went was in December and the traffic was beyond insane, and the prices for anything is so high. W(hy)TF did Cali people move to Las Vegas and ruined the city. They already ruined anything in California so now they have to ruin other states, Phuck California.

NV low taxes!!!, I used to live there since 1988, the taxes have increased so much in the past 15 years. Sales tax used to be under 6.5%, now its 8.25% and might increase to fix $hit that CA drivers always seem to phuck up. CA brings with them higher taxes and their $hitty ass ideas.

check out free state project, they were libertarians who moved to New Hampshire to influence state government to keep it one of the freest states. Their state motto is even "live free or die". California and New york are the dumpster states of USA

TX aint bad,no income tax,but there is sales tax,cost of living is lower,housing,food,gas!

Homeowners rejoice everytime they see their house value goes up until they get the property tax bill!
After Hurricane Harvey,the state planned or already had,issued over $60 billions worth of muni bonds to improve the infrastructure ,saying they wont raise property tax to pay the interest and principal?
How are they going to do that with depressed oil and gas price and many small operators filing for bankruptcy?
Homeowner insurance premium has already gone up 30%-35%

TX property tax is not that high compared to East coast or West Coast,but folks are used to lower taxes so any increase they complain.
We also have many immigrants from Central America,Mexicans are catholic,they tend to have more children and state has to provide education,medical care.
Yes,HEB is very popular,the same company also owns Central Market,HEB prices are lower than Kroger,Randall and turnover is high,so produces are fresher than the other supermarkets
Another popular one is Fiesta,they have better prices on papaya ,tortilla,they have a van which will come and take you to shop if you live in the city and dont drive.

Houston is probably the most affordable large metro city in US,compared to LA,NYC or Chicago,if you live in a HI RISE building,choose a higher floor.

You can get a house for under $150k in TX,a damn nice one too..
house prices do not go up much in TX,may be Austin but not Houston or Dallas or smaller towns.
but you watch Hurricane Dorian,same can hapPen again coming up from Gulf of Mexico .

there are pros and cons with every state,it just depends on your own situation-your age,your health and your finance,your lifestyle.
Some moved to Belize,Mexico,Malaysia,Portugal,Thailand,El Salvador ,do your homework

I once picked up an OK magazine which features all the girls in a topless OK bar,yes,they aint the prettiest girls!
But now I am in TX,I have yet to meet a pretty girl,only in the high society magazines,they are married to oil tycoons and have their face and body retooled.

Texas also has Whataburger & H-E-B stores. All good!

Everything is bigger in Texas, too. It's still possible to buy a decent home on a 1/4 acre lot for under $250k in many places.

Texas has high property taxes, just like New Hampshire. It appears you can find a state with no income tax but high property tax, or income tax but lower property tax.

I'd like to move to Alaska. I haven't checked into the tax structure up there but they're ridiculously pro-gun and the police up there are polite and friendly (from what I've gathered on TV, lol). Instead of warrentless searches of your vehicle because a traffic cop said they smelt weed, cops up there actually have to get a judge to sign off on a search warrant before they can search your vehicle. Must be amazing.

EDIT: Now that I've checked into their tax structure, I think Alaska is the clear choice for me. I don't mind the cold. And you're a leaf, leaf, so it would probably be great for you too, haha.

I think I will stay in Oklahoma for some time, the cost of living is lower. than Texas. The only thing bad about this state are the women. All the women my age look 15 older than they should.

Well, if we are speaking just about the United States, it is Los Angeles I think. I like Palms, beaches and the ocean. Hot weather is also good for me, I really like the atmosphere there, but prices and taxes there are insane, they are too high, so it is not very easy to live there. That is why I have found a place that has a similar nature for a living. I decided that Portugal fits me brilliantly and with the help of http://ptnhr.com I became Non-habitual Resident of Portugal And I can live here as a normal citizen.

Portugal is nice if you speak Portuguese,Spain is very nice when you can pick up some nice homes back in 2008.
Ditto parts of Greece,Italy,some EE countries.
But eventually you miss home,home is where the heart is,
also no matter where you are the arms of US TAX law will get you,you still have to file U.S.income tax.
Some went to Malaysia,they have a program called Malaysia my second home,bring you own healthcare the first year,$xxxxx in your bank account,mucho rain in some months and one area is prone to tsunami.
Then there is Thailand,Ecuador,El Salvador,Mexico,Peru,Costa Rica.
I heard Costa Rica is a nice place to retire too,Mr McCaffee went there and he dismantled his software as it is too annoying !
