Need urgent advice
 

Several days ago I found a baby turtle ,I brought it home and kept it in a plastic bin with water,floating cilantro,some rocks and a large clam shell.
Chopped some lettuce,chicken meat and carrots ,but it does not look like it ate any?
Then bought some turtle food (floating stick),no response.
It tried the Great Escape twice,just this morning when I removed the giant clam shell which it is fond of hiding under,it has disappeared,not in the tank,not anywhere.
Now it just reappeared,strange?
So I put it back into the tank (bin) with its favorite hiding place(shell).
My question is -
Should I release him back to where I found him,the receiving pond behind my house?
It is bigger than a dollar coin,not the best swimmer,but it must be healthy to escape twice?and come back?
will it make it in the wild?

Call an animal charity. The little guy needs some loving but it needs to be professional care.

Have you searched google for more info on this type of animal and whats best for it?
Maybe consult a Vet? or the wildlife authorities in your are?
Don't think anyone here would be more of an expert on the subject. Go to the pros.

does turtle climb wall?
Do you think they wil bother with one turtle?
