Anyone watched Kill the Irishman last night?
 

I watched part of it,they used cinema tricks and cosmetics to make De Niro,AL Pacino and Joe Pesci look old and look young,but it just does not work,like Deniro as a young truckdriver,??
There are different versions of how Hoffa dies,in another movie by Jack Nickolson,he was shot outside a truck stop and his body and his car were all taken away in a trailer ,but this one shows he was shot in an empty house?

Good film. I liked it. Very nostalgic feeling. If you liked Goodfellas / Godfather etc you will like The Irishman.

Probably the last crime drama that amazing cast will ever do.

The CGi make up is a little distracting at first but you get used to it very quickly.

sorry,it is not Kill the IRISHMAN,it is just Irishman starring Pacino,Deniro etc.
But the heavy makeup makes DeNiro facial expression rather stiff,they have to ask Joe Pesci 50 times to join them,as he has retired and he does not want to play any gangster role.
I prefer to watch Ben Kingsley in Pascali's island ,all actors -Helen Mirren,Charles Dance and Ben are much younger then

I tried to watch it several times,but just lost interest following the plot,this Hoffa.Kennedy stuff have been hashed and rehashed so man times and who and how Hoffa is killed is still a mystery?
There are some great movies -Gone with the Wind,Lawrence of Arabia,Doctor Zhivago,this one aint worth the hype and money .

Did they spent 150 millions on that movie,where did they spend it??
so much botox on DiNero face,hardly any expression,and he is sure not moving like a young truck driver.
Just saw another movie-Backstabbing for beginners,Jacqueline Bisset was a beauty in her younger days,but not anymore,but Ben Kingsley,an oscar winner,acted his age,he is very good.
