Leaving the country, will my accounts be at risk?

i'm considering moving to a different country, but i'm worried ebay/paypal will detect unusual activity and limit my accounts if i log into my accounts using a different IP. what can i do to prevent it from happening?

I use my USA eBay and PayPal accounts when traveling in Asia without an issue.

They also realize that people travel often, especially overseas these days.

Logging-in to a new IP is not a problem. Always keep your history/cookies intact, then you should be good :thumb:

no, everything will be fine. Just use the same laptop. Ebay may ask/paypal may ask phone verification so check is your phone number is available.

Hi,

it depends on your current set up. If you are using stand alone laptops for every account, moving them can be a bit of a hassle.

Also please take the IP structure with you. You should be on fresh dedicated IPs anyhow to be completely safe.

You can also consider deploying VPS or making a Hyper V setup on one laptop that could manage multiple account, only limited by your diskspace.

If you have a good structure it shouldn't be an issue.
I would recommend you using VPS or any solution similar.

Especially when not having the authentication code and the registered phone number at hand ;)

Changing IP may result to authenticate your account again. So they will send you the code to your registered mobile phone.

I experienced this earlier. It is good if you can activate roaming facility for your mobile phone
