| MathProfessor | 12-27-2019 06:33 AM | Newbie question about ebay Hi guys, I'm new here, I have a lot of experience with paypal but not much experience with ebay.
It seems a lot of people here have had their ebay accounts limited and they seek alternative accounts for this.
Sorry if this seems naive, but why do so many people get banned from ebay? is eBay excessively trigger happy or is it the case that many people do something shady?
Genuinely curious, no judgements either way. |

yankee | 12-27-2019 10:32 AM | Re: Newbie question about ebay Paypal typically is a lot more strict than ebay. Pretty much if you follow the rules, Dont sell risky stuff and offer excellent service you have little issues.
If you drop ship, sell digital goods or anything else disliked, or offer crappy service, you will get closed up.
Paypal has these same issues plus a bunch of their own. |

So presumably a lot of these people who need a steady supply of ebay accounts are drop-shipping from remote places or selling warcraft gold? |

I still get messages asking me to come back and improve my seller rating.
Makes me wonder the hell do you have to do to get banned. |

agent006140 | 12-28-2019 10:29 AM | Re: Newbie question about ebay you should read your Ebay agreement when you signed up to see what is not allowed to sell on Ebay |

agent006140 | 01-04-2020 11:29 AM | Re: Newbie question about ebay Ebay asking sellers to come back and sell is generated by bots ,as new seller or old seller coming back,Ebay/Paypal will put a hold on your sales proceeds up to 21 days, sometimes more if it is a high risk item.
also did those buyers leave you negative feedback, here is another reason a seller can be banned,if his feedback falls into negative territory say -3. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:48 PM. | |
