I don't believe in karma but I struggle to have much sympathy for someone who, due to his wealth/status, bought his way out of a rape conviction and the likelihood of jail time.

That aside - and while very problematic - he did contribute a lot to the game of basketball.

Tragic to die so young though :rip:

Those rape cases are not uncommon among athletes.
Feel bad for his wife,she lost a husband and a daughter

He wants to avoid the LA traffic and spent more time with hisr family ,so he opted to fly,(15 minutes) and he and his wife have agreed never to travel in the same helicopter.
As to the rape case,he said/she said,he said it is consentual,she said it is rape.
It happens a lot among athletes.

I don't think that's admission of guilt since we have seen how rape cases can go for the innocent, especially if youre wealthy and in the limelight.

She was looking for A paycheck, he gave it to her so she will go away.

Ultimately, only those two (and God) know if he's really guilty or not.

At the end of the day, he was a husband, father, and role model to many... Lets not desecrate him now that he's gone. Let those who were effected mourn, we are all human at the end of the day, and we all have skeletons in the closet.

Side note: I share your ideals, but usually only for those I know are guilty, and those who have not impacted my life big enough for me to notice.
