It's hard to tell if my sales are slumping from Covid-19, because I'm still working on getting my stock back to normal levels after Covid-19 nearly wiped out China. :(
I did not see the latest thread in the category. This is my mistake.
that thread is more about the virus itself. while your thread is about issues with sales because of the virus. Honestly, I wanted to post such a thread myself.

Having thought about it i agree. I just read every page and it discussed the virus. Not how the virus will affect sales moving forward
I initially thought it would not affect so much providing mail can be sent and stock can be obtained either from china or other sources, as lots of sellers resell from retailers.
If people were stuck at home, they may choose to buy everything online.
However on the other hand, given its such a pandemic, then if no stock is obtained, demand outweighs supplies and hence dramatic drop in sales.
what does everyone else think?
I spoke to some chinese contacts, who told me its getting a lot better there as its under control, so they will begin trading more, soon.
They still have problems, some workers cant come to work.
factories are not getting parts and material, not just Chinese factories but factories in India,Vietnam,Germany,US,UK.
Well,
Just closed the books on last week, sales volume dropped by nearly half Profit margins 11% above average.
I would bet that it's my low inventory levels right now along with my higher prices (as I priced everything higher due to low inventory) that's accounting for my steep drop off.
People are still shopping, in fact I think people are buying more these days as virus concerns continue. People just like to spend a lot during emergencies and panic.
