| | | MathProfessor | 03-23-2020 12:33 PM | Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails What do you guys use for email providers?
You used to be able to make a hotmail or yahoo account in 10 seconds, but nowadays they all want phone verification. Gmail too.
Then you have "stealth" providers like protonmail and tutanota but using such an email makes you look untrustworthy as they're often used for shady purposes.
So what are people using nowadays? |
| Aviatrix | 03-23-2020 01:57 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails I use gmx and mail.ru; both allow you to have 10 aliases per account, which is 10 different email addresses per account. |
| slokor | 03-23-2020 06:27 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Gmail all the way. |

| StealthLannister | 03-25-2020 06:04 AM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Also you can just buy sim cards, this is much cheaper option.
You can verify 4 gmail accounts in just 1 number. |

Which out of the suggestions are you referring too? slokor and tinsolder has given you the best but yet you think it's time consuming due to the phone verification process, if you are trying to bypass that simple but time cunsuming process you will get bitten and taken back to the starting line.
Only then you will find out that if you would have taken that advise at the start you would have been nearly there by now,
Personly i wouldn't suggest any disposable email providers but if slokor and tinsolder suggested gmail you should take that advise.
Disposable email = temporary and is defined as you do not intend keeping it for long term |
| Aviatrix | 03-25-2020 01:23 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Since when are gmx and mail.ru "disposable"? |

| Aviatrix | 03-25-2020 01:49 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails I know for a fact that gmx lets you set the sender for any alias address, but anyway all of this is completely irrelevant for somebody who will just be selling on eBay and not sending out emails. |

| Aviatrix | 03-25-2020 01:58 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Then again I'm not sure if we can expect much more than that from someone whose interests are listed as "masturbating, downloading porn". |

You suggested to him two email providers but did not state about the term Alias and it's benifits from it.
If you had stated that it would have seen different. |

Alias addresses being flagged as spam is pure crap. | Is it? so too is this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_alias
it say's
"The recipient's SMTP server sees only the forwarding system's IP address. In general it has no reason to trust the Received: headerfield generated by the forwarding system and does not know the originating system's IP address. Therefore, recipients cannot reliably distinguish spam to the alias address from spam generated on the forwarding system. When a recipient reports a message to his ISP as spam, the ISP credits that spam to the forwarding system. ISPs with low abuse thresholds may begin blocking email from the forwarding system" |

all it say is "I use gmx and mail.ru; both allow you to have 10 aliases per account, which is 10 different email addresses per account"
is there another post you made that i cannot see?
Not that it matters i can see i am annoying you,
..
I have an idea for you.... open a thread about Alias email accounts and it's benifits Vs disposable accounts, i am sure it will be helpful to the forum... seriously |
| Aviatrix | 03-25-2020 03:02 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails I can't believe I'm actually having to write this: "Which is" in this context means "equivalent to" and another way of expressing this is "as good as".
"which is 10 different email addresses per account" = "as good as 10 different email addresses per account" |
| MathProfessor | 03-26-2020 05:38 PM | Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Hey guys, just to clarify, I was looking for a way to make email addresses that's easier than gmail, that's all. I can make a gmail in about 3 minutes, but gmail has some issues: you need a phone number and sometimes when you change your browser it wants to verify again. Protonmail is better but it looks shady.
It might be easiest to just use one of my own domains. |

Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails I would always phone verify Gmails otherwise you will find yourself locked out. One thing you can do is add a forwarding address to the new gmail in case you do get locked out. |
Re: Email Providers for throwaway/stealth emails Is the email service provider so important nowadays for Ebay stealth accounts. What do you guys can recommend? |
