I like when the Canadian prime minister called the Queen...
like this one... I used to get tapes like that at work put through to me.... though that is a set up call between 2 people, and the salesman definately is an actor, but gives me a few ideas.
I have so many, I dont know where to start, If its for me I say I will get her and then come back with an accent they cant understand and say things like ya, I am phone..
If someone calls to speak to his highness, normally say I am divorced and he left and it was quite traumatic or he died horribly but Im over it.....they always say sorry and hang up, similarly if a charity calls, I say I give all my money to something like the montblanc buying association etc.
Another one is I like to ask them personal questions until they hang up..I start with are they married and how much they earn, and then if they are still there it gets decidedly worse..
Saying you will get the person and then leaving the phone and checking every few minutes to say they are coming, until they give up is a good one too....
I am sad, I look forward to the calls, except theyve stopped calling, I wonder why... |
