| aspkin | 08-29-2020 11:45 PM | Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? I believe I have/had coronavirus but I'm feeling fine now.
I had symptoms such as extreme tiredness, brain fog, elevated heart rate and shortness of breath.
However I ONLY have these symptoms when I take stimulants such as my Vyvanse medication or caffeine + any physical activity.
If I stay away from stimulants I'm 100% fine.
It's been about two weeks since I've noticed these symptoms.
I've learned that coronavirus is a vascular disease. And anything that aggravates your cardiovascular system when you have coronavirus makes it much worse; stimulants do that.
I did get tested but it came back negative. I'm guessing it's a false negative because I had all the symptoms like I mentioned.
Again, I'm fine so don't worry about me; I feel much better now. I'm going to stay away from stimulants for the next month just to be sure.
Anyone else with coronavirus symptoms? |
Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? There are many conditions that could be causing those symptoms so it is unlikely to be COVID19. Best to see a doctor if they come back. |
Lemon263 | 08-30-2020 03:34 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? Unlikely to be a false negative. I'd be more worried about the effect the stimulants are having than trying to blame it on covid. |
Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? No symptoms on my end like that since Jan/Feb - be careful bigboss - and yes, there are other chemicals and viruses that cause similar symptoms
I know 2 ppl who succumbed to the virus and I worked on one case that barely got through but had many other issues |
aspkin | 08-30-2020 07:30 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? Actually the more i look into it the more it looks like me/cfs which is scary. |
agent006140 | 08-30-2020 08:36 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? loss of taste and smell, gastro disorder like diarhea are other symptoms.
Do you have any idea how you catch the virus? |
agent006140 | 08-30-2020 08:38 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? You are in TX,right?Houston?
It could be the weather after the 2 hurricanes. |
phaz0rz | 08-30-2020 09:06 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? To me those symptoms sound more like effects from long-term amphetamine use. Doctors fail to warn parents about the long-term effects of powerful stimulants when they initially prescribe them to 9 year olds.
I know of one person who was officially diagnosed with covid and had to stay out of work for a month because of it. He says the only symptom he ever noticed was a lack of smell, which is something that can be explained by any sickness that clogs your nose. No fever, no losing his hair, no being put on a ventilator or anything like that.
It's a hoax in my book. Don't forget to wear that mask though!
RE: amphetamine abuse, the following chart seems to summarize what you're going through.. https://i.postimg.cc/7hnjd54D/untitled.png
As anyone who's done prescription uppers knows, Vyvance (Lisdexamfetamine) is virtually the same drug as Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) so the long term effects are the same for both drugs.. and also for other prescription uppers like Concerta (methylphenidate) and Focalin (dexmethylphenidate). I used to like doing all those drugs in high school but they aren't so appealing when you start to realize how much of a body load goes with them. |
e2free | 08-30-2020 09:37 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? Many of us had covid 19 but don't even know, the problem is some people dont have any symptoms or mild symptoms in the start i had headache tidiness etc with runny noise which i tought maybe had covid 19 but test was -ve never know most of us had it and dont even know or when the test taken it was no virus in body

Ridiculous. It's nonsense.

jakobrockz | 08-30-2020 09:49 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? What type of test did you get? Those tests that come back the same day are known to have false negatives and false positives. Do the lab test that comes back in 2-3 days or something like that.
My whole family has had covid. It wasn't bad... But I didn't want to get out of bed for 2 weeks. Had no motivation and I almost felt like I did some drugs because my body felt "high" and groggy. But I guess there's difference strains going around :noidea: |

Do you have any idea how you catch the virus? | Recent travel I'd say would have caused it... I should not have traveled. :/ |
jakobrockz | 08-30-2020 11:15 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? The BIGGEST thing is losing your taste and smell. I've never had another sickness where I lost those two abilities. It's kinda scary....
Literately every single food tasted the same. The only thing I could do is add spices to make it hot just to be able to have some type of sense when I was eating. Coke/Dr. Pepper etc just tasted like blan soda water. It was so weird |
RandomStranger927 | 08-30-2020 11:35 AM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? I've had some sort of cold after going to a tourist destination, it might've been it, idk, too scared to get tested, however is the virus dangerous enough to justify a global economic suicide, no. |
aspkin | 08-30-2020 01:28 PM | Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? Honestly I think my symptoms now are a flare of up of ME/CFS from the virus. I had the same symptoms with previous viruses but now it's back with a vengeance.
ME/CFS can last for years which isn't fun. |

Two friends of a member of my family died of Covid-19. He was really close to one of them. He rang us up, broken and frightened.
I hear some symptoms can linger for weeks or months even if you're clear of the virus.
Perhaps you should consider taking another test. Even better if you throw in an antibody test just to be sure.
I'm glad you're doing better. :) |

So many people went to India and come back sick, one guy came back in 2 urns, one for each child. |

Re: Has anyone contracted coronavirus or know someone who has? Flu season coming - this will complicate matters and freak some ppl out with symptoms, sadly | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:09 PM. | |
