Facebook, mobile, whatsapp tracking?

Hey all, back in the day I tried my hand at Back Orifice which was pretty neat. I know thats a long time ago but wondered if there's such a thing (RAT) for whatsapp, or a way to spy on a facebook users account or mobile phone number etc? From what Ive read its only possible if you have physically got control over their phone for a short time, or is there a workaround?

Might have to do deep google searches for this or...worse. This kind of activity is highly illicit and a huge pain for those that do this
