we seem to have more than our fair share of weather related problem-hurricanes after hurricanes and big storm in the mid west,wild fire in CA and now earthquake?

If it's a big one then sometimes it means there'll be some other big tremors anywhere along the Ring of Fire.

and yet, this years hurricanes still don't match previous worse years.

Wild fires aren't weather. Weather could exacerbate it, but you can blame CA wildfires on poor forest management. It's obviously going to get worse, because they aren't doing anything to prevent it from getting worse.


As far as earth quakes. That's not really new either. The last decade has seen many bad ones. Some as high as 9.0.

So yes, we seem to have more than our fair share. Seem, being the operative word there.
