if you have a bird as a housepet-parakeet,cockatiel,cockatoo,ETC,does the poops bother you?
If you let them out of the cage,do you mind cleaning after them?
I watch many Youtube clips on how much they love their birds,but no one ever say anything about clean up?

Used to have a bird years ago.
Don't have one any more cause it bothered me - a lot.
I now stick to my dog. Yes he poops and I have to clean it up but hes a LOT more interactive. Its nice to see your pet have feelings and exhibit emotions. That's not something you can get with a bid unfortunately.

parrots have a lot of feeling,they are quite chatty and affectionate if they like you and trust you.
But they are meant to be free and fly and be outdoor with mother nature,not watch TV with you indoor!
dogs,cats poops are disgusting and they harbor parasites and germs and viruses we may not have the immune system to fend off.

True point about the parrots - sadly their wings get clipped to avoid the flying away I have read :(

About the dog and cat poops....a lot depends on the person's sense of hygiene.
