2 Home job and LinkedIn Profile
 

Hi guys, I am working home based for a new job since july last year and this Job is permanent Home based. I have 2 income streams (job+ eBay), I have a wife and 2 kids, unfortunately I am still not independent financially, I have the idea to have another home job, but my worries are to negatively impact my main job, I have created another LinkedIn profile with name variation (only some letters change), but I still have the doubts if I will give my ID to sign the new contract? Because I really don’t want any risk with my main job as I am relatively new to the company , What is your thoughts please?

Are the 2 jobs in completely different industries? First question.

I work 2 jobs but I have provided full disclosure to both to assess conflict of interest since they are in the same industry

Yes they are completely different industries, in other Hand one is sales, the other one is Business Development. Also in different countries. is very tricky honestly. It is feasible but at this moment I think I will postpone despite the financial need

It's doable - but if they have access to your LinkedIn profile....you're right to be concerned.

I dont really keep much social media active - I try to maintain a low net presence in fact

I have been working at home for a long time, I understood that online jobs are more practical from several points of view. My first job, I was able to find on Zizu, you can enter the site here. I'm hired as a GMP specialist. Since I work online, I have understood many factors. First of all, you have your own comfort zone, and you don't have to make friends with new people. In second of all, I'm a person who's always hungry, which is why my lunch break takes place whenever I want. You know, this is the best job for anyone.

I agree with this! I work for 2 companies as well, both remote. And I am loving it! One based in the UK and one based in the US (I had to negotiate a contract - if you need tips on how this article might be handy - and took a lot of convincing for both since they are on different timezones. But so far so good everything is going smooth, and been with them for 2 years. The flexibility and comfort to work from anywhere is just amazing and fits my lifestyle cause I love to travel!
