Has anyone ever file bankruptcy?

Im in over my head with this. Is the trustee going to go over my tax reports tooth and nail or are they just making sure I dont leave any income out etc? If I say I made 50k on Amazon, is the trustee going to nickle and dime everything to make sure it adds up?

You can google and find out,my understanding is you are allowed to keep your car and your house, but if there are payments due,the creditor would seize them.
some loan will stay like your taxes and your student loan

It will depend on the trustee. However, this is one area you need to be completely truthful. So don't mislead the trustee. Unless your documentation brings attention to the trustee, trustee generally do not go in great detail. Other than that, the reply by agent006140 is right on.

Have you been through this? If I said I brought 100k of inventory is the trustee going to go line by line and made sure every single item is sold?

I kind of agree with agent here even though I haven't worked with a trustee like this
