Is it ok to be doing alot of ordering from foreign countries?

As in a buyer or as in on selling items from O/S (dropshipping?) What are your aims

As a buyer

Some items are prohibited from being imported here. Some items are prohibited from being exported out of certain countries.

Example: Chinese version of a movie. Illegal for your shipper to export out of China, might get seized before it leaves their country. Restricted from import to U.S., might get seized upon arrival at U.S. customs. Might squeeze through both ends.
