2021 report to IRSes
 

Maybe I'm late on this but, did anyone get 1099k's on under 20,000 accts in 2021? I got them on all of my small sale accts and naturally the big ones!
Ebay is (for me) reporting to Uncle Sam every dollar, everything!

I have to look at more of them to be sure but I think they did a manual at some point.
Some don't have the 1099k form filled out or zero for 2021. The ones that do had bin in trouble deeper than most. I will check some more. Thanks

It's most likely because of the registration state.

It's not that. I got linked a while back (2021) but I talked my way out of it. They work fine. I have to check them all and compare it to clean accts to be sure. thanks

Do those <20k 1099's have a tax ID? If they don't all have the same tax ID then those accounts weren't linked..

A few years ago when Mass. changed their threshold to $600 I had a 1099 generated on a stealth account, but it had no tax ID so I ignored it. :noidea:

No tax I.D. on most of them. They were under 20k so that's what surprised me. It will take me a while to check because I get fresh IP's OK but this computer or something out there makes them drop off with no internet. I don't like changing IP's so quickly to get back on so I wait...wait till it links up again, boring, time consuming.

IP has nothing to do with it. 99.9% chance it's just the registration state. I'll look for the post TGMT made that lists all the states that would do that before this year.

All were and still are Managed payments converted in 2022 but not converted 2021. That happened to me with Mass. too...I never checked but my gross is always reported high just to be safe over the years.

If your accounts are registered in any of those states then that's why you got 2021 1099's with no tax ID.

Changing IP's when checking for 1099k's. Slow down read what I said. I'm not good at expressing my mind thoughts

ALL registered the right way. I've been on here for over 9 years but I can't get my old Hercules to open...long story..snore

No they are not..ever. I have some shipping going on this morning so later I will try to check many of them hopefully.

Simply I have some accts that are listing 1099k forms for pdf that list 4300 bucks, 8750 bucks etc for 2021! NOT IN THOSE EXTRA TAX STATES. Thanks on your patients!

I check it out last night and all of my linked Ebay accts. got a 1099k for 2021. None of the good ones though.
I bet you that any fully suspended accts have 1099k's sent out too without you knowing about it, so be careful tax time.
(mostly personal accts, no EIN got 1099k's) The good ones have EIN Business setups.
