Points on licence, looking at a ban? How did people get out of it?

As the title suggests, been caught speeding, looking at a totting up ban, just intrigued if anyone else had the same experience a day how they managed to evade it?

I didn't deny I was speeding, i'm sure many of us have been caught off guard by the mobile vans parked on a downhill stretch of road, just wanted to know how others have dealt with this. Can't really afford solicitors fees, thought someone might have a creative way to get it resolved with a small fee.

Just cry in court and say you need your license for work and you have a family to feed.
