I lost a lot of money and time investing in Crypto, because it was the thing back then. Learning from those mistakes I would say invest in your knowledge and skills instead and in your relations with the people around you.

I know, but it is as pertinent as ever. My friends who invested in real estate are starting to have doubts when they see governments expropriating properties or making up new tax laws under the pretexts of "this will help the lower class" or "we need to go more GREEN". People are scramling to find ways to secure their hard earned money. The money printing machine is working at full capacity and I personally know people who have to cut down their expenses drastically just to get by.

Investing in stock or crypto might be one of the ways, but there is always a chance the governments will invent new stupid laws to take your money away from you. The only way I see is investing in your skills and relationships. Just saying...
