why are you bringing it up you're an older woman who has no school debt. I know I have to start paying my loan back. please don't rub it in. thank you

Do you know quite a few 'older' men and women have student loan debt ,they took them out in 2008 when jobs disappeared and the only way to have a roof over their head and food to eat is to go back to school.

I am in a mixed reaction to the situation, I am lucky I do not have any.

From the point of view from those who have student loan debt it was a God send that Biden proposed forgiveness for some of the loan amount, it reduces the mill stone from around your neck.

The other side of the coin is that generally if you have had a college education your income will be higher than those who have a GED or graduated high school, so you can afford to repay the loan as you may be in professions, such as, lawyers, doctors, nurses, engineers, CPA’s etc.

The other argument is those who paid off their loans, especially the ones who paid it off early and would have qualified had they not had.

Personally it is what it is, once the government got involved with student financing it opened the flood gates for the education costs to rise astronomically.

Yeah, I read that the student loan pause will end cuz of the debt bill.

During the past 3 years,only 1% of 40 millions continue to make payments.

It looks like they will have to start paying soon as the holiday is over soon and it seems the Supreme Court will not support Biden’s plan.
