File hosting with hotlinking / direct linking?

In my email communications with customers I have to include download links to large files. Google Drive and MEGA have worked ok so far, but I find that some customers become a bit wary, when they see a warning from Google that "the file could not be scanned for viruses as it is too large". And in general, it is another hassle customers have to go through - click the link in my email, get to google drive page, click the download button, see the warning from google, confirm again...

Can anyone recommend free online file hosting with hotlinking / directlinking? I found some threads about using python to convert Yandex Disk links to hotlinks, but that will require some programming and testing.

Why not get your own website with storage space if your business model and costs allow it? Looks much more professional

Agreed, but sometimes one wants to test new ideas and it is not always practical or economical to get a new domain and hosting.
