Thieves managed to subdue the store clerk and use a piece of heavy Plyer?/to open the ATM and took all the cash,several 7/11 stores were hit.

They rob food as well,Walgreen in California was robbed 4 times a day,the robbers just take the frozen entrees from the fridge,I guess they are hungry.
Another store said shoppers will just open the lid of Haaz Datz ice cream and start eating,in summer time.
Some supermarkets have locked up steaks.

Does anyone remember Abbie Hoffman?
He wrote a book called Steal this book,in the book he showed how you can have a very nice meal free-
Go to main dining room and eat a full meal,take the tab and go to the bathroom,emerged from the bath and go to another partition of the same restaurant ,sit at the counter and ordered a cup of coffee.
go to the cashier and pay for the cup of coffee.
It works with a large restaurant with 2 rooms

does timing matter?at the end of the day,there may not be much left in the ATM

If you want to see a movie in real life come to South Africa. Robbers with machine guns will shoot cash in transit vans or smash into them with stolen trucks until they stop. Then use c4 bought from mining companies to blow them up. Then take all the funds. If the police show up its a shoot out... or they work with the police...It's all over youtube...happens occasionally

In the UK this has been happening for 20 odd years.

Stealing a digger then just ripping the ATM out the wall and taking it

Diggers, reverse ramming large vehicles. We have a epidemic of moped muggers now in central London that will chop off your hand to get your Rolex. Or they'll smash your car window while sitting in traffic to get it. Again videos on YouTube.

It's only going to get worse tbh. If people are hungry they would rather risk jail than starve.

Those guys don't care. They tried smashing the window of a bugatti chiron in London while on the road to get the guys watch
