Wall removal

What are the key structural aspects to consider before removing a wall? How can you ensure that load-bearing walls are properly addressed?

what are load bearing wall?

I know if you live in an apt building, you need permission to knock down walls

I have two brothers who claim to be demolition experts to remove the wall between 2 bedrooms so it can be turned into a den.
There are wires in the wall, and they just throw it up into the attic and tied it around the wooden plank close to the furnace and water heater without covering it with a lid ,until someone came to install a ceiling fan and went up there to find out.
You should seek professional advice before doing anything yourself

I did not go up and check their work,I assume since they are demolition experts, they know what they are doing, how many of us will frequent the attic and look around for ??
I dont know about Japan, but houses built in US,the attic floor is not concrete, they just have drywall and some wooden planks you have to step on to look around.
Are you thinking of those old houses where a person can even sleep and work in it?
They dont build houses like that anymore,it costs too much .

if the builder is still around,it would be a good place to ask.
Or you can ask a contractor to come and take a look and give you his opinion and an estimate of how much.

We will be dining at a local supermarket this week where you pick out your seafood(lobster, shrimp, conch, crab) and pay $7 extra to have them prepare the way you want it , eat in the store or take them home,
JUST TO BE FAIR,I think $7 is a fair price to cover labor and material.
What do you guys think?

Definitely so but if you have your own house and doing renos, it's worth to make sure that a wall isn't load bearing
