Some auction house do not charge buyer commission.
See what happens to Ebay,one dealer once told me,you cannot mix trash with high end items,buyers are not going to pay more for high end items.
This is not a good auction for ASPIRE,but some of their religious figures go for 5 figures,there is also a humal skull,we will see how high would it go?

Buyers bid low because they take that 23% into account.
Seller is not getting that 23%,the seller 20% and buyer 23% go to the auctioneer to cover the credit card fees,listing ,photo taking ,verification,appraising costs.
Love their photos!

20% from seller,23 from buyer,so auctioneer is taking 43%,shipping is done by another company and not cheap.

All these add up to a huge rip...wonder if anything gets sold well...you seen any nice lots?

I bought 3 items and returned 2 !!
They took great pictures,the items are not as nice .
They have experts for certain items but not all,and they do make mistake,not deliberate.
But they do give me a free Fed Exp return label.
( Many items did not meet reserve,but you can still inquire and make offer)

I will find out,they give me free Fed Exp return,so thats good.
They have a no return policy but in both cases are items not as described,I think they would refund in full.
They have expanded since creation,Ebay is no longer a place to find quality antiques,and Aspire has the consignor inventory on hand and expertise to evaluate the items,diamond is their specialty,so are oil paintings and luxury items like handbags,clocks,watches.
They are weak in Asian antiques
