I know a guy whose ex-girlfriend ran off with $14k that he had saved up. I asked if he was going to try to get back with her to get it back but he stated that because he cheated on her causing the breakup that he wouldn't ask her for the money back

Not physical silver in my collection but stocks and etfs - works alright as part of the portfolio

Stuck in limbo, pretty much. Had no idea I'd been such a terrible husband all these years but apparently we had different goals the whole time.

I had a bunch of silver coins and gave them to my dad for money I owed him. They are worth three times as much now. Nice investment he made

You used to say you will always pick up pizza for your kids and your wife sells as well.
Sorry to hear she took all the silver,a friend of mine ,his ex wife took all the gold they bought overseas when they travelled together,now she is dead .

Not titanium, aluminium and copper will be next,but silver and gold get more retail attention.With Trump throwing his weight around,tariff ,no tariff,take over Venezuela,Greenland,Cuba,it turns everyone off,their central banks are now replacing US dollars with gold as their bank reserve.
And they are losing interest biddiing in our weekly Treasury auctions,makes no difference if Powell cuts rates,rates for our long and medium debt will not decline !

Aluminium,graphite and nitric acid are also worth paying attention.
Nitric acid is needed to refine silver from sterling silver,800 silver to 9999 silver bars. Nitric acid is also needed in making fertiliser

I put $20k into a silver 2x leveraged ETF, AGQ, after that guy was killed by ICE on Saturday during market close. I sold it all mid-day for an increase of 16%. I made $3600 yesterday.

I don't like silver, its too volatile for me.

silver is now at $114.
if you believe silver should trade 25:1 vs gold,then it has a long way to go !
Gold is now $5280/then silver should be at $211/
There is a shortage of silver out there,many silver miners have switched to mine gold as silver price languished at $32 for too long.

silver is worse than just being volatile,if you believe in what some experts are saying=
Silver is trading at a higher price in Shangai than COMEX,
Why?
Because many COMEX traders eg the banks have always shorted silver but this time is different,to lessen the pain,it raises the margin requirement,forcing those who cant meet margin to liquidate,thus loweRing the price of silver at COMEX.
But this is just a quick fix,now you see silver keeps rising.
You see silver at $117 as we speak.
But what happens outside COMEX is different story-
at first the retail coin shops merrily buy all the silverware customers brought in,sterling 925,800,then they ran out of money.
They want to sell to the wholesalers who would ask the refinery to turn them into 9999 bars.
The refinery before they buy all the silver junk-cups,sauces,plates ,trinklets,they need to hedge in the future market ,then they find out what is known as backwardation-the future price is less than the spot price,
If they pay the wholesalers $78,they can only get $76 at Comex after all the work?
But now this backwardation problem has been resolved,but the wholesalers have reached their credit limit,their bankers are not going to raise the limit,so their hands are tied.
The refineries have become lazy,they will only refine silver 9999,so they can easily turn them into 9999 bars!
How many of us have silver teapot,coffee pots made of 9999 silver?
How many of us are willing to take our pure silver coins to be melt down ,and disregard the numismatic value !

both silver and gold dropped on Friday when Trump chose Warsh as next Fed chairman,Wall STreet assumes Warsh will lower interest rate as Trump wishes!
Silver is due for a correction anyway.
I am watching aluminium now,this is a dark horse,Century Aluminium will be opening a factory in OK to refine aluminium,first for USA.
I have been warning you folks on bitcoins,it is down $6777 now.
Bitcoin can never replace the fiat currency,from the time you place a pack of porkchop into your shopping cart to the time you check out,price could have changed.
