Looking for someone near or in Kolkata to give me INR & I will pay him or his supplier in RMB.

Hi, yes physical if fine, but transfer can be done via banks also, will pay via alipay or wechat. Thanks

Ever Bank in Florida deals in foreign currencies,I dont know if non US residents can open an account with them.
Kolkata is the old Calcuta ,if there is a Chinese community there,you can go and see if anyone could help you.
Or any currency exchange place in the city !

Might be a different situation in India - currency exchanges may have blocks on certain currency...

Hello guys, I cannot go to any exchanger because I do not have the RMB with me, it will be sent to the persons Alipay/wechat account by my boss who is from CN.
He pays the person in RMB.
The person sends me INR in cash or bank transfer thus saving exchange fees.
Its ideal for IN students in CN & business men who deals & Pays in RMB from IN.

Surely that's incredibly difficult for someone trying to source from china and ship from india.


I've been watching a lot of YT videos about india and the infrastructure just isn't there

Lot depends on each city, state, currency providers...like in Kolkata, maybe the demand for RMB is low

it is actually easy to send money from china to india with limited fees

the scheme described here is only good for scammers , for example paying with stolen money within china to get rupee cash in india

scam is everywhere where the causal connection is broken , in this case the sender in china and recipient in India are disconnected

it would not be fraud (potentially) if the question was whether someone in India with RMB cash on hand is willing to directly exchange into rupee or the other way around saving fees

although such a transaction may not be safe it has a causal connection

they can just send cash directly to india , a bank transfer in such a scheme is only needed to launder money , most likely it is stolen money which needs to be cashed out outside China

What do you mean by sending him Cash?
The sender in China does not have rupees (cash)

Hey guys Thanks for all your support, Finally I was able to find soneone from HK who works there & is an Indian, My Boss sends him RMB he in return sends me from his Indian Bank through upi.
