New DIET pills
 

This is a question for non US members-
These days we all want to lose weight and the latest diet pills are much sought after,
Americans are gaining weight,back in the old days a man 6 ft 2 inches weigh 180 lbs,now they can weigh 400 lbs.
Same problem with women.
I think it has to do with the growth hormones they injected into the pigs,cows,chicken,tilapia,shrimp etc along with antibiotics,
Before they sent the cow to slaughter,they inject something to make them weigh more .
I dont see such overweight problem in other nations,what is your thought?
ANyone weighs 400 lbs?
Do you eat more or less?we can have a rotisserie chicken for $6,13 piece of fried chicken for less than $10,pizza,ice cream,all for low low price.

Overweight and obese is trending higher in many developed nations when you look at the stats. Ozempic is the wave these days.

Too much cheap access to ultraprocessed food and preservatives etc - sad that the healthiest food options are often more expensive that the preserved crapola

yes,to stay healthy,you will pay more.
But people are now used to larger portion.but then we have a different lifestyle now.
Back in old day servants do the house work -cleaning,dusting,washing ,mowing lawn,washing and waxing cars,taking out garbage,now middle class do all these themselves,we need more fuel

The problem is people staring at screens all day (us included). The more developed the nation, the less caloric burn is required to stay alive.

Also drinking beer,wine,smoothie,

But I still think the growth hormone and antibiotics they use are responsible for the huge weight gain.
For some ,it could be birth control pills and medications.

Growth hormone and antibiotics certainly do contribute somewhat to the satiety point and getting ppl to overeat

The "welfare state" thing also contributes a lot to the obesity problem. There are tons of people who have more kids just to get more benefits from the government.

I think some states have placed a max of number of children ,but the daughter can get pregnant at 13 and get welfare for her kids,so you can have 3 generations under one roof ,they own large TV SET,order Domino pizzas,fried chicken.
Once I took a bus to downtown,several girls no more than 12 (they look like 8 to me) each carrying a baby getting off to the govt building where they applied for benefits

I think I've mentioned this to you before but I used to work at a seafood market in my late teen/early 20's. It really put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to this. Every month we'd have big fat ladies with cars full of kids come in with over $1000 on their EBT cards, throwing "food stamp parties" to drain their funds before the end of the month, since they don't carry over to the next month. It wasn't uncommon for us to get $500+ orders of "luxury" seafood like lobster tails, shrimp, and crab legs from these people who are allegedly too poor to feed their families without gov't assistance.


They settle into that program while getting fat and lazy because there's no reason for them to change.

Speak for yourself, I have never needed to lose weight. I had Pizza and Beer yesterday and at my age it went straight to my gut. But today I was at the gym and as well as weights I did about 45 minutes cardio.

Problem solved.

If someone's fat it's because they eat **** and don't move enough.

Stay away from the Goy Slop

This has been my diet today:

One Banana
One strong black coffee
Big bowl of oats with blueberries
5 medium sized eggs with toast
Handfuls of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries>
Half a rotisserie chicken with boiled potatoes
Leafy salad with tomato, cucumber
Second coffee
Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream(Once a week)
Now I am preparing a later dinner - beef steak, plain boiled pasta, salad

I think there is a law which said you cant use food stamps to buy lobsters and other fancy stuff.
But it is their choice,just because they are poor,they cant enjoy themselves ??.

I think I will buy a live Tilapia and steam it myself,but my burner can only go up to 15,000 BTU while restaurant can do 30,000 BTU

if you are running a restaurant,you would do higher than 15,000 BTU,ask yourself,how long do you want to wait to be served?
Once 4 of us are in a restaurant,dinner for 4 is $60 with a live Tilapia,then the owner said we have only one left in the tank and it is a large one,so would you folks pay more,all of us said NO.
Some folks do have higher BTU in their kitchen,once me and a guy both eyeing a live cat fish,he told me if he buys that catfish,it is a big one,it would take 9 minutes ,hard to believe,he has that kind of set up at home?

Losing weight doesn't need magic pills it needs discipline.

Increase your protein and good fat intake, eliminate all bad carbs like bread, rice, pasta, processed foods like biscuits, fizzy drinks, crisps and watch the fat melt off.

You genuinely don't even need to exercise if you do that alone.

Yeah, if all those people that say "It's my genetics!"..."It's the hormones in the meat!"...etc would actually write down what they eat everyday without cheating then we would see the truth.
